- Congratulations to Stephen Franks – on his award of the Bishop’s badge. The Vicar and Wardens are pleased to announce that our verger was awarded the Bishop’s badge for services to St John’s, especially his digitising all available10,000 plus burial records, which is an invaluable resource. We missed the one presentation service at the cathedral this year as it coincided with the Walsingham pilgrimage, so we are planning to present his badge at St John’s on Sunday 25 October with a celebration afterwards.
- Harvest Flowers – A big thank you to the flower ladies who did wonderful displays for harvest. There is still time to contribute to the flowers, thank you.
- Walsingham 2027 – The dates are Friday 24th – Sunday 26th September 2027. Please put the dates in your diaries, a sheet is out on the table for putting your name on. See Richard for further information.
- Used Postage Stamps– Please continue to collect any used stamps. There is still a collection tin at the back of the Church. Recently 1kg of stamps was gratefully received by the Ashgate Hospice shop. Many thanks.
- Prayer List – Please let Richard know if you would like a person putting on our sick prayer list. You must get the persons permission for us to add them to the list, thank you.
