Marriage in church is about inviting God to be part of your marriage and to bless it!
Marriage in church contains both legal and spiritual elements. The Bible tells us that: God is love, and those who live in love live in God and God lives in them.
This is what we want for all those who come to get married at Newbold Parish Church!
The Rector will also need to make sure that you can get married in church. Here are some of the questions you will be asked…
- Do you live in the parish?
- Do you have the right identification?
- Have you been married before?
Don’t worry if you’re not sure! The Rector will be able to help you find out exactly what is needed, and guide you through the process, step by step.
