Wendy's son, Chris, lives near Knutsford with wife Dee, and Oscar, their toy poodle. Wendy's daughter, Jo, lives in Sheffield with husband Mikey and 2 young daughters, Alice now 9 and Isla 4. Wishing to be closer to family, they are the reason for the move to Chesterfield nearly 5 years ago.
Following a science-based career in both industry and education, Wendy worked in the voluntary sector as a Basic Skills Tutor and as a Hospital Chaplaincy Visitor before her move to Chesterfield.
Wendy is a member of the Pastoral Team and committee member of Newbold Women’s Group, and her interests include walking, birdwatching, playing Crown Green bowls, and researching her family tree.
