Notices

  • Ashgate Hospice – You may well be aware of the current situation re Ashgate Hospice where they are having to reduce inpatient beds, cut staffing numbers, and reduce services due to lack of funding. Nine beds were earmarked for closure but two have been saved for six months due to the generosity of people. We are having a retiring collection in church on Sunday 21st December and at the Carol Service on Wednesday 24th December at 6.00pm. Please support this vital hospice in our community if you are able. Thank You.
  • Aumbry Light – There is a new 2026 sponsorship sheet out on the table at the back of the Church. Cost is £4 per week, please pay the Church Wardens.
  • Men’s Group – The club are meeting next Saturday 20th December in the Parish Room 10.00am to 12:00noon. Why not join us on a Saturday morning for good food and excellent conversation. You will be made very welcome, you may have ideas for what we can do in 2026. In this month of festivities we shall be offering pigs in blankets on a bread roll and mince pies.
  • Renewal of Magazine Subscription – To renew for 2026 you can pay in church by putting the £8.00 in an envelope clearly marked with your name and ‘Magazine Subscription’ on the front, marked for the attention of Church wardens please. Thank you for your continued support.
  • Local Honey – There are a few jars of local honey left, £5 per jar, makes a good Christmas present.
