Once more we are grateful to Rhoda for being the Zoom host on 2nd June, when 14 members joined in the virtual meeting.
Our speaker for the evening was Paul Evans, who lives in Gloucestershire. Paul entertained us with poems, readings, chat and anecdotes, providing us with plenty of light-hearted items which was ideal in these challenging times.
Our next meeting is on Wednesday, 7th July, when we are pleased to confirm that we will meet at 7pm in church to listen to Stuart Watkinson playing a suitable summer selection for us on the organ. We will be subject to the Covid regulations at present applicable in church, so face coverings must be worn, and the hand sanitiser provided must be used.
Also, we will be socially distanced and will not be allowed to serve refreshments, but it should give us a very welcome opportunity to meet together again after the long break.
Please contact me if you have any queries or suggestions.
