Rhoda kindly hosted our Zoom meeting on 2nd December, when we were able to create our own carol service, with the aid of technology. Rhoda led the prayers, the usual Bible readings covering the Christmas story were read by members and carols were heard via YouTube, mostly from King’s College Chapel Choir, Cambridge, with the mute button allowing us to join in without being heard. Special thanks to Janet, Anne P and Marilyn for their organising. In addition, we enjoyed a variety of poems and readings and had a short Christmas themed quiz, so a busy evening that was appreciated by all. Thanks to everyone who contributed in any way.
We look forward to seeing or hearing a good number on Wednesday 6th January at 7pm, again via Zoom. Rhoda has agreed to give a talk on the interesting subject of beekeeping. We look forward to seeing as many as possible and the Zoom link will be sent in advance as a reminder.
