NEWBOLD WOMEN’S GROUP AGM
Our meeting on 4th March was our Annual General Meeting, when 22 members attended and reports of a successful year were presented. Diane, Anne, Mavis and Trish agreed to continue as committee members, but Yvonne has had to step down. Janet and Marilyn kindly agreed to join the committee. The new programme was circulated and subscriptions for the year became due. Following the meeting we had an enjoyable social evening with Cheese and Wine refreshments organised by the committee.
Unfortunately, because of all the restrictions in place as a result of the coronavirus pandemic, our meetings on 1st April, 6th May and 3rd June, plus the outing in July, have all been cancelled. When the situation has changed, gatherings are allowed and our welfare assured we hope to resume the programme for the year and members will be advised accordingly.
