APRIL MEETING – THE WOMEN’S GROUP LEARN TO TIE SCARVES!
On Wednesday 5th April the Women’s Group spent a very enjoyable evening with Tracey Oldfield from Chameleon Wool Shop learning how to make the most of wearing scarves. Using our own scarves we followed Tracey’s guidance to tie both rectangular and square scarves and how to finish off the whole effect by “fluffing and faffing”! All kinds of scarves were used and there was lots of hilarity at our attempts especially when diagonal folds were introduced! Tracey was a very entertaining tutor and finished off the evening by helping members make the most of “problem” scarves. We were pleased to welcome three new members and we hope to see them again at future meetings. Our next meeting promises to be very interesting indeed as Stephanie Parkes is coming to talk to us about her life in the Caribbean. This will be on Wednesday 3rd May at 7pm in the Parish Room and all ladies are welcome to join us.
