At the recent meeting held in the Eagle Club, the members were pleased to hear that their bid for funding from Biffaward had been successful. This money will be used for renovating the area near the disabled toilet and for new kitchen worktops and sinks. The work is expected to begin during the school holidays.
Another success was a grant received from Mansfield Building Society which has been used to buy an electric urn, cutlery, beakers and jugs. This equipment can be used by any people hiring the rooms. The committee is very grateful to the Mansfield Building Society for their support and to Julie Franks for her hard work in getting these grants.
