Firstly, I hope everyone has had a good ‘summer’ break despite the weather not having been up to expectations. The gardens have certainly benefitted instead!
This is just a reminder that the group meets again on Wednesday 6 September at 7pm in the Parish Room.
Our speaker for the evening is to be Anna-Louise Pickering, daughter of the late Pollyanna Pickering, the well-known wildlife artist and conservationist. Anna-Louise is committed to continuing the work of the Pollyanna Pickering Foundation raising funds for world-wide conservation, and her talk will be entitled ‘Travels with a Wildlife Artist.’ It should be a good evening so why not encourage friends, husbands, partners etc to come along and join us. The meeting is open to everyone at £2 each to cover refreshments and a raffle ticket.
For any further information, please do contact one of the committee, Trish, Marilyn J, or myself. Everybody will be welcome.
