After having to miss out last year it was an added pleasure on 3rd November for eight members to go to The Peacock, Cutthorpe, where we enjoyed a delicious meal, with attentive service in suitable surroundings.
There was plenty to talk about and we found it very satisfying to have the opportunity to be together again.
For our final meeting of the year, on Wednesday 1st December, we will be gathering at 7pm in the Parish Room, which has been thoroughly cleaned and prepared for use. The evening will include Bible readings telling the Christmas story, with recorded carols, other poems and readings, a Christmas themed quiz and light refreshments. All members have been contacted directly with further details of what we trust will be an enjoyable evening.
