Rhoda kindly hosted our Zoom meeting on 6th January, when fifteen members joined in the first virtual meeting of the year. Rhoda led the prayers, then gave us a very enlightening talk on beekeeping, with pictures.
She covered what a beehive consists of, the equipment required, how the hive is used by the bees, their making of the honey and the processing and putting into jars, following the activity for a year. This was all so well described and prompted much interest and questions, so thanks again to Rhoda for such a fascinating presentation.
We look forward to seeing or hearing a good number on Wednesday 3rd February at 7pm, again via Zoom. A local representative of The Children’s Society will be giving a talk on the work of this organisation, which we have ongoing links with through church. The Zoom link will be sent in advance as a reminder.
