Mother’s Union Meeting June 2016
Ten members of the M.U. gathered in Ruth and Bob’s garden for the June meeting. A lovely sunny afternoon meant we could be outside for tea.
After the business which entailed telling members about the arrangements for the forthcoming visit to Ashbourne and the Service for Celebration of Mary Sumner Day in Bolsover, members remembered Maureen Ashton. We hope she will be back amongst us soon.
Strawberries, scones and cream, plus tea and coffee were then served and the raffle and transport money taken by the Treasurer. Members enjoyed a good catch-up on news and the afternoon concluded at 4pm.
