Welcome to Newbold Parish Church!
We are a Church of England church on the outskirts of Chesterfield, and have been at the heart of our local community since 1857. We seek to be a place of worship which is both friendly and welcoming, and would love to welcome you to come and experience our worshipping community!
If you would like to know more about what we do, why not come to a service? Alternatively, have a look around this website, our Facebook page – newboldparishchurch, or speak to Ben, our Rector, who would love to chat to you about what goes on here at Newbold Parish Church.
Unfortunately, at the moment all service and events are suspended on the advice of the government and our Archbishops around the carona virus. However, below is the pattern of our normal services end events…
8am – A quiet start to the day with a service of Holy Communion without hymns.
9.30am – A traditional service of Holy Communion with Hymns.
The 11 o’clock service – 1st, 2nd and 3rd Sunday each month – A less formal service with interactive teaching, singing, and loads of fun!
9.15am – An intimate service of Holy Communion, without hymns, followed by refreshments and chat. This is held in our Parish Room (behind the church).
