Our 4pm service starts on Sunday 4th September and will be happening each week.
What is the 4pm service like?
Our 4pm service is an all-age service, and these can take many forms. However, here at Newbold Parish Church, our all-age services are a chance to worship together in a more informal way.
When does it happen?
The 4pm service takes place each Sunday. The 1st Sunday is an all-age holy communion service, with the other Sundays being a service of the word.
Christenings will now happen mainly on 4th & 5th Sunday at 11.30am, or in the 10am or 4pm services if requested.
We aim to make our 4pm service ‘interactive’. This means that the congregation has the opportunity to get involved with the Bible readings we look at and these may be experienced in multi-media. The prayers might include a multi-sensory element, and the talk may invite some creative responses. The music is a mixture of old and new songs, and the occasional hymn.
How long is it?
We aim for each service to be no longer than 45 minutes.
Who is it for?
Anyone who likes the sound of it really!
