What is the 11 o’clock service like?
Our 11 o’clock service is an all-age service, and these can take many forms. However, here at Newbold Parish Church, our all-age services are a chance to worship together in a more informal way.
When does it happen?
Our 11 o’clock service takes place on the 2nd and 4th Sundays of each month (dates below).
What happens?
We aim to make our 11 o’clock service ‘interactive’. This means that the congregation has the opportunity to get involved with the Bible readings we look at and these may be experienced in multi-media. The prayers might include a multi-sensory element, and the talk may invite some creative responses. The music is a mixture of old and new songs, and the occasional hymn.
We also meet afterwards for refreshments, with the children encouraged to have a go at various crafts based on our theme.
How long is it?
We aim for each service to be no longer than 45 minutes.
Who is it for?
Anyone who likes the sound of it really!
